Introduction

This site is filled with the poetry that I have written over many past years.  Some of it is about love and loss but
the majority of the poems on this site are about the emotional struggles that I have had with health problems,
personal loss, panic attacks, anxiety, and depression.  The main reason for this site is to provide to others a
look at the raw emotions and fears that have existed in my life through my poetry.  In the hopes that whoever
visits or reads this site will take from my poetry an understanding or an insight that will help them with their own
depression and problems in life.  At the least I hope that they will not feel so alone in their struggles and give
them the ability to look at their depression or problems through different eyes.

The poetry in this site reflects both the brightest and darkest moments of my unintended journey and has been
some what insightful and therapeutic for me.  I never started out to write a book or put up a web site but the
nature of what I was writing seemed to be valuable and relevant to problems that many of us have experienced
at one time or another in our lives.  Sometimes the poetry that I was writing seemed a bit juvenile and it would
languish about love and loss while other times it seemed to be both dark and twisted and come from a place
that was buried deep within me.  I never felt the need to be vulgar or explicit in my writings and just allowed the
words to come out as they would.  Which seemed to worked to my benefit but sometimes confused me.  The
images that some of my poetry painted were simplistic and easy to understand but at other times the images
were not easy for me to understand at all.  Some of these poems even reflected a dark and a twisted image
that I sometimes referred to as, The Other Side of Madness, a dark look into a frightened mind.
We followed not the slated road,
nor to the path stood fast.
But walk we did as we've towed,
the littler of our past.
